Slings indicated as support to keep the arm in the correct position, prevent inflammation, and promote rest. They are indicated to prevent movements that could aggravate an injury. They are typically used in cases of humeral fractures, forearm injuries, and/or surgeries:

The shoulder immobilizer is an orthopedic device that completely restricts arm and shoulder movement. It is used in cases of more severe injuries or following surgeries requiring non-mobile recovery to reduce complications.

Fleming shoulder immobilizers feature a waist support, which provides extra stability by securing the arm with a band around the body, thus preventing movement.
