Fleming is a company founded in 1971, dedicated to the manufacture, import, and distribution of Medical, Surgical, and Orthopedic Healthcare Products at both national and international levels.

Fleming has several proprietary brands, including: FLEMING, MEDICAL WAITCH, URI-CON, VARISPORT, SUPERFLEMING, RIPOSANTI, and OTAFUKU. All of them have been established in the market for over 50 years, and under these brands the company markets its products, earning the trust of users and clients.

HISTORY

In 1971, Fleming was founded, a family business dedicated to healthcare. With years of experience in the medical field, one of the founders of Fleming was the first manufacturer of clinical thermometers and hypodermic syringes in Spain.

Fleming began as a company dedicated to the manufacture and supply of Medical and Geriatric Equipment across all healthcare sectors (distribution channels, pharmacies, hospitals, orthopedics, among others), offering proprietary brand products, under which it markets them with the highest quality guarantee.

Fleming was a pioneering company in Spain in introducing an innovative, high-quality product for male incontinence issues, with its Uri-Con adapter and adhesive fastening strip. A product that remains a benchmark in its category to this day and has earned the trust of its consumers. Additionally, it was one of the first companies to introduce, market, and bring to Spain the first automatic and digital blood pressure monitors, which were manufactured in Japan and marketed internationally.

In addition to its 7 proprietary brands (Fleming, URI-CON, Varisport, Superfleming, Medical Waitch, RIPOSANTI, OTAFUKU), the VARITEX brand, specialists in compression stockings and tights, belonged to Fleming until 1994, when it was transferred due to a change in the company’s strategy.

Throughout all these years, Fleming has been renewing its image and updating its portfolio, incorporating new products and new categories in order to remain relevant with market innovations and trends. Our latest change, in 2024, comes with a restructuring of our catalog, incorporating innovations both at the product level and in the image of our packaging, as well as greater digitalization of the company.

At Fleming, we are manufacturers of orthopedic and incontinence medical products, which undergo rigorous quality control to comply with applicable European and Spanish regulations. Fleming also imports and distributes products from leading brands in the sector, and is an Official Distributor and Authorized Wholesaler of two market-leading firms: Riester and Littmann, respectively.
