Description

Indications:

Medical instrument used for visualizing and examining the external auditory canal and the eardrum.

Features:

• Hard plastic case with closure, including an otoscope and a tube with 10 ear specula: 4 reusable and 6 disposable.
• Handle length: 12 cm.
• Handle diameter: 28 mm.
• Type C or AA handle (batteries not included). 2.5 V and 3.5 V models available. XL or LED depending on the model.
• The average service life of the xenon lamp is 15 hours.
• Includes spare xenon lamp. LED does not include spare.
• Suitable for pneumatic testing. The insufflation bulb with connector is not included, but is available as an accessory with reference: RIESTER OTOSCOPE BULB AND CONNECTOR REF. 10960-10961.

L1 Model:

• The economical basic model with direct illumination and reduced-reflection xenon lamp (without specula ejection).
• 3x magnification glass optics, swivelling to both sides.
• 10 specula included: 4 black reusable (2 to 5 mm), 3 black or blue disposable (2.5 mm), and 3 black or blue disposable (4 mm).

L3 Model:

• • The fiber optic model with xenon lamps, specula ejection, and surgical lens.
  • Fiber optics for optimal light focusing and transmission.
  • 3x magnification glass optics, swivelling to both sides.
  • 4x surgical lens (only included in this model), with miniaturized optics to facilitate instrument insertion (Fig. 2).
  • 10 specula included: 4 black reusable (2 to 5 mm), 3 black disposable (2 mm), and 3 black disposable (4 mm).
  • With SpecEjec® specula ejection. The SpecEjec® function enables the disposal of used specula without contact, for hygienic and easy handling.
