Device to illuminate and examine the auditory canal.
Description
Indications:
A medical instrument used to view and examine the external auditory canal and the eardrum.
Features:
- Hard plastic case with closure, including an otoscope and a tube with 10 ear specula: 4 reusable and 6 disposable.
- Handle length: 12 cm.
- Handle diameter: 28 mm.
- C-type or AA handle (batteries not included). 2.5 V xenon model.
- The average service life of the xenon lamp is 15 hours.
- With spare xenon lamp.
- Suitable for pneumatic testing. The bulb with connector is not included, but is available as an accessory under reference: BULB AND CONNECTOR FOR RIESTER OTOSCOPE REF. 10960-10961.
L3 model:
- The fibre-optic model, with xenon lamps, speculum ejection and surgical magnifier.
- Fibre optics for optimal focusing and light transmission.
- 3x glass optics, swivelling to both sides.
- 4x surgical magnifier (only included in this model), with miniaturised optics to facilitate instrument insertion (Fig. 2).
- Includes 10 specula: 4 reusable black from 2 to 5 mm, 3 disposable black 2 mm and 3 disposable black 4 mm.
- With SpecEjec® speculum ejection. The SpecEjec® function enables disposal of used specula without touching them, for hygienic and easy handling.
