Description
Indications:
- For arm support, preventing inflammation, promoting rest, treating fractures, and helping to offload the arm and shoulder.
- Used for post-surgical immobilization, trauma, dislocations, fractures… as a support to maintain the arm in the correct position.
- The arm may be bandaged or in a cast, but it is not necessary to use the sling.
- It can also be used for recovery after pacemaker implantation to serve as a reminder not to use the arm. They can be useful after a stroke to assist in the process of relearning to walk.
