Device for ophthalmological examination (allowing for comprehensive examination of the eye and fundus).

• OPHTHALMOSCOPE:
  • Fiberglass-reinforced plastic casing.
  • 2.5 V Xenon XL illumination, similar to daylight.
  • Interchangeable screw-on heads.
  • Metal clip on the handle for secure attachment to the gown.
  • Robust adjustment ring with sturdy metal thread to position the instrument head ideally with respect to the handle.

  CONFIGURATION:

  • Physician’s side:
    • Lens wheel with corrective lenses from 0 to +20 and 0 to -20 diopters.
    • Illuminated diopter indication.
    • Integrated spectacle protector.
  • Patient’s side:
    • Easy-to-use diaphragm adjustment wheel.
    • Four different diaphragms:
      • Small circle and semicircle to reduce reflections in cases of small pupils.
      • Large circle for normal fundus examinations.
    • Red-free filter to increase contrast. For evaluating minimal vascular changes, e.g., retinal hemorrhages.

  OTOSCOPE:

  • 2.5 V Xenon XL lamp.
  • With an innovative fiber optic system, allowing optimal light concentration and transmission, which in combination with the lamp provides a cool, daylight-like examination light, very comfortable for the patient.
  • Detachable 2.5x magnification lens.
  • External instruments can be inserted with the lens detached.
  • Screw lock for secure mounting on the handle.
  • Robust adjustment ring to position the head ideally with respect to the handle.
  • Sealed system for pneumatic otoscopy.
  • Extremely durable fiberglass-reinforced plastic casing.
  • Age-resistant chrome-plated metal base at the front of the head for quick speculum assembly and disassembly.

Presentation:

In a hard case with two sliding safety latches. A transparent plastic tube with five reusable 2.5 mm and five 4 mm specula is included. Batteries not included.
