Suitable for both arms. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>Features<\/b><strong>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With manometer for manual reading.<\/li>\n<li>Cuff with internal rubber bladder.<\/li>\n<li>Manometer with integrated inflation bulb. Bulb with deflation valve. <\/li>\n<li>Zippered case.<\/li>\n<li>Ambidextrous model.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>Directions for use:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>When taking a measurement, the person whose blood pressure is being taken must remain lying down or seated. If seated, ensure that the cuff, placed on the forearm, is at heart level. It is recommended to rest the arm on a table and not move it during the measurement.  <\/li>\n<li>Connect the cuff tube to the deflation valve located between the manometer and the bulb.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cuff on the left forearm. Pass the Velcro end through the metal bar at the other end and adjust the cuff to the arm without tightening. Ensure that the indicator arrow on the outside of the cuff is positioned over the artery.  <\/li>\n<li>Place the stethoscope chestpiece (not included) under the edge of the cuff where the arrow indicates.<\/li>\n<li>While holding the bulb, turn the deflation valve knob clockwise and pump the bulb until the needle reads 40 points above the usual maximum pressure reading.<\/li>\n<li>Deflate the cuff by turning the deflation valve knob counterclockwise.<\/li>\n<li>When you hear the first heartbeat, note the value shown on the manometer; this is the maximum (systolic) pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Continue deflating the cuff; you will hear the beats.
